BTEC Performing Arts

Task 1. – BTEC AUDITION

1. To find, prepare and perform a monologue, taken from a published play, lasting a minimum of 2 minutes, with accompanied annotated script of the monologue.

This should be from a different play than these studied for GCSE/BTEC exams

Task 2. – BTEC AUDITION WRITTEN CONTEXT

2. A 500 word report on the chosen monologue. This should show an understanding of the character, style, genre and where the monologue falls in relation to the play as well as any interaction with other characters in the scene.
